Apps people keep
on their home screen.

I'm Yakshraj — an MS Computer Science student at San José State who has shipped 13 Flutter apps to the App Store and Google Play.

Flutter · Dart · Firebase · Riverpod · AWS · Python — San José, CA

Hello.

Nice to meet you.

I build mobile products end to end — architecture, state, API layer, interface, release. Mostly in Flutter, mostly with Firebase behind them, always with the assumption that someone real will open it tomorrow.

Before the code I care about the decision: what this screen is for, what can be removed, what breaks at scale. That habit came from shipping apps to actual users rather than to a grading rubric — matrimonial matching, city taxi dispatch, computer-vision fitness tracking.

I'm finishing an MS in Computer Science and looking for a Summer 2027 internship where the bar for craft is high.

Why me.

Why I'm worth
the interview slot.

Engineering

I ship the whole app, not one screen of it.

UI, state, API layer, auth, database rules, store release. Devotee went from an empty repo to 10,000 downloads without a single handoff — because there was no part of it I couldn't build.

  • Clean Architecture with Riverpod, repository pattern and dependency injection
  • Firebase end to end — Auth, Firestore, Realtime DB, Cloud Storage, security rules
  • REST with Dio: pagination, caching, retries, offline-first state
  • Python, Java, Swift, Node.js and SQL for when the problem leaves Dart
  • AWS certified four times over — Cloud, Security, ML and NLP

Craft

I design it before I build it.

Figma first, then code. Spacing, motion, empty states, the wording of an error — the parts users actually feel. An engineer who holds the design bar doesn't ship work that needs rescuing later.

  • Reusable widget libraries and design tokens, never one-off screens
  • 60fps motion that has a reason, with reduced-motion fallbacks
  • Accessible contrast, focus order and screen-reader semantics
  • Every layout holds from a 320px phone to a desktop browser
  • Figma to production without a translation layer

Track record

10+ apps. Two stores. Real users.

Devotee Matrimony sits at 10,000+ downloads and 3.8 stars across 259 reviews. I've led four engineers, been promoted from intern, and cut a crash rate by 40%. None of this is a class project.

  • Scan2Send & WorkHive Bidding — led four engineers, promoted from intern
  • DooDeg Taxi, GreenGains, StuTrack — built and released solo
  • 10 freelance apps across transport, food, education, wellness and media

Say hi.

Let's talk about Summer 2027.

Open to SWE and mobile engineering internships in the US. Happy to walk through architecture, code, or anything above.
